On the heels of declaring Fox News not a legitimate news organization, the Obama Administration has now declared that Walmart is not a legitimate discount store.  “Walmart is not a union shop, so they cannot claim to be a legitimate discount store and we will treat them as such,” said a White House Shopping Czar.  “No White House employees will shop at Walmart.  And we will not allow Walmart products into the White House.”

Shopping watchdogs were alarmed by the announcement.  “This is a real threat to freedom of shopping,” said Penny McMacy of the American Civil Shoppers Union.  “This is a battle the White House really doesn’t want to fight.  I find it foolish, because Walmart will always have the final sale.  All they are doing is drawing attention to Walmart and probably increasing their sales.  And what they’re doing is likely unconstitutional.  Just because they don’t like Walmart, doesn’t mean they should go to battle with them.  Big mistake.”
