Former President George W. Bush announced today that he has officially changed his will and named Republicans as the sole beneficiaries. Tormented by the constant references of Barack Obama to “inherited messes”, Mr. Bush decided to change his will to save further annoyance.

“President Obama claims to have inherited every bad happening from me,” said Bush. “Well, not anymore. He’s out of the will, and he can’t inherit anything else. Let him work for it himself.”

Attorneys for President Obama began researching ways to challenge the will in order to preserve his inheritance. Initial thoughts were to challenge the soundness of mind of Mr. Bush when he made the change or to invalidate the new will through an act of Congress which guarantees that President Obama can inherit more than 50% of all messes through the inheritance tax.

The Obama Administration announced today that it has appointed former president, George W. Bush, as its top economic adviser. The surprise move was apparently done to resurrect their “Blame Bush” strategy and make it more effective. It has been almost a year since Bush left office, and the Administration felt the highly effective strategy was losing its impact.

“People stopped listening to us when we blamed Bush for the past few months,” said White House spokesman, Commy Greenberg. “We inherited all of this mess, but people started to forget George Bush and they actually felt that problems were our fault. Now that W is back on board in a key position, this really creates a new sting when we tell people the problems are Bush’s fault. They can look and say ‘yes, Bush is an economic adviser and the economy sucks’. That has real power. We did some market testing to blame Joe Biden instead, but that just didn’t have the same effect as blaming Bush used to have. I think getting George Bush on board is going to help the public to realize that nothing is really our fault. We will look to appoint him in different roles, depending on where we see problems. We are a flexible with our blaming strategy.”
