No one believes on either side that pot should be legal for medical purposes….this is and always has been about making pot legal for everyone, this is just a small step to a larger picture.
Let me run somethng past you folks. How about just not smoking it? ……….How difficult can that be.

Actually, Dale, your idea is the most dangerous of all. I’ve seen first-hand how drugs destroy the lives of families when they are illegal not readily available. If you think legalizing drugs and allowing societal degradation on a massive scale in the name of freedom is a wise move, then I’d say you’re probably smoking something already.

Frankly both the writer of the letter and the writer of this blog are wrong. The problem is a government established protectionist racket that limits distribution to one area. Much like other industries, when the government gets involved unitended problems arise. Make it legal for people to grow for their own use any substance they like. Just don’t come asking for hand outs if you over do it. Here we have a lib who doesn’t like the law he enacted and a neo-con cheering for more gub’ment. It’s funny really.
